Edward S. Shapiro, Ph.D., is the Director of Lehigh University's Center for Promoting Research to Practice. Lehigh University is a partner with the National Center on Response to Intervention. Dr. Shapiro's work focuses on outcomes of Response to Intervention models for service delivery and assessment and intervention for academic skills problems.
Dr. Shapiro is Co-Principal Investigator of the Model Demonstration Project (MP3), which is a joint partnership between Lehigh University, University of Pittsburgh, and the Pennsylvania Training & Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), which has been funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs.
